  1. Juliana has been selected to participate in the 2018 NextProf Nexus Workshop sponsored by the U of M and UC Berkeley. Congrats!

  2. Our publication on “Efficient Oxygen Electrocatalysis by Nanostructured Mixed-Metal Oxides” was featured as the supplementary cover art of July issue of JACS.

“Engineering Catalysts/Electrocatalysts for Energy Conversion and Storage”

The Nikolla Research Group focuses on studying issues related to catalysis/electrocatalysis for energy conversion and storage systems (such as fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, cooperative/selective heterogeneous catalysis for biomass conversion etc.). We address these issues by combining state-of-the-art synthesis techniques, characterization (electron microscopy and spectroscopy techniques) and quantum density functional theory (DFT) chemical calculations.
